Function:
Strengthens the Heart, Calms the Spirit, Moves the Blood, Eases Pain
Use:
1. Palpitations with Anxiety
2. Restlessness
3. Uncontrollable laughing and crying
4. Dull complexion after childbirth
Dose:
6–9 grams, up to 15 grams, made into a draft with Decoction of Chinese Dates (Da Zao) and fresh Ginger.
Cautions:
Not used during Pregnancy
