Soak the coarse powder of the above herbs in 12.3 liters of water for 1 hour, then boil to half. When cool, strain and filter and add:

* Bdellium is prepared according to traditional methods
** Some sources list Jaypala (Croton) in place of Baliospermum
Preparation:
Boil the prepared Bdellium (Guggulu) in the decoction and concentrate. Next, add the remaining herbs in fine powder, lastly adding the Ghee and mix well. Then form pills.
Function:
Clears Wind and Damp, Resists Poison
Use:
1. Arthritis or Rheumatoid Arthritis
2. Gout
3. Sciatica
4. Tendonitis
5. Bursitis
6. Carpal Tunnel Syndrome
7. Fibromyalgia
8. Acne
9. Chronic Eczema
10. Psoriasis
11. Tumors
12. Cirrhosis
13. Excessive Urination
14. Constipation
15. Ulcers
16. Disorders of Old Age; traditionally believed to promote youthfulness
Dose:
500mg–1 gram, three times daily (maximum dose is 3 grams daily)
Cautions:
1. Not used during Pregnancy, or in young children.
2. In some people it may cause hyperacidity.
3. While using this formula, avoid Sours, fried food, excess exercise, excess sun, alcohol and anger.
Modifications:
1. Arthritis from Phlegm/Damp, or for Gout take with Punarnava Guggulu
2. Skin diseases with heat and inflammation, add Madder, Sandalwood, Neen
