Preparation:

Form Pills or used as a Powder

Function:

Clears Lung Heat, clears Phlegm, stops Cough

Use:

Burning, dry and sore throat, cough with foamy sputum and tightness in the chest from Phlegm (Bad Kan) and Wine (rLung).
1. Cough with frothy sputum or pus in the sputum
2. Cough with Fever and chest pain, Bronchitis
3. Severe Colds and Influenza
4. Acute and chronic Bronchitis

5. Bronchial Asthma
6. Hoarseness, Pharyngitis
7. Burning, dryness or soreness of the Throat

8. Sensation of foreign body in the Throat
9. Tightness of the Chest
10. Shortness of Breath, labored Breathing
11. Pneumonia
12. Hemoptysis
13. Lung Cancer

14. Goiter
15. Endocrine disorders with heat signs (ie. Thyrotoxicosis)

Dose:

2–3 grams daily; or hold in the mouth and chew

Cautions:

None noted

Modifications:

1. Asthma, take with Great Decoction 25 (Thang chen nyer lnga)
2. Severe Colds or Lung Cancer, combine with Garuda 5.
