Aconite Drain the Epigastrium Decoction

Preparation:

Decoction. The Aconite is boiled for 45–60 minutes before adding the other herbs, the Rhubarb being added towards the end.

Function:

Clears Heat and Toxin, Drains Damp

Use:

1. Specific for focal distention due to Damp-Heat (Damp-Heat with interior clumping)
2. Vomiting
3. Diarrhea with sweating

Dose:

The above is taken over the course of the day

Cautions:

1. Not used during Pregnancy or Breastfeeding
2. Not for Coldness of the Digestion (Stomach and Spleen)
3. Do not overdose or use for extended periods
