Chebulic Myrobalan

Terminalia chebula

Iron Bhasma

Ferrum usta

Licorice

Glycyrrhiza glabra

equal parts

Preparation:

Powder the herbs, mix with the bhasma and form 500mg pills or tablets

Function:

Nourish and strengthen the Blood, antacid

Use:

1. Blood tonic in Anemia
2. Hyperacidity
3. Colic
4. also used for Diabetes and Cataracts

Dose:

1 tablet (500mg) daily with Ghee and Honey

Cautions:

None noted

Electuary of Five Medicines is the same as this without Licorice, but is made into an Electuary with Honey.
