Conserve of Betony	Betonica officinalis
Conserve of Rosemary	Rosmarinus officinalis	1 oz. ea.
Elecampane root	Inula helenium	2 drams
Fennel roots condited	Foeniculum vulgare	1⁄2 oz.
Chebulic Myrobalans	Terminalia chebula	3 drams
Confected Rue seeds	Ruta graveolens	1⁄2 scruple
Lovage seed	Levisticum officinale	7 grains
Essence or Spirit of Valerian	Valeriana officinalis	1 dram

Preparation:

Powder and with Syrup of Betony, form an Electuary.

Function:

Tonifies Qi, moves Qi, clears Damp, strengthens the Head and Senses

Use:

1. Poor or Failing Eyesight
2. Tonic to keep the Eyes strong

Dose:

2 drams morning and night
