Preparation:
Powder the herbs and rust, and mix with the Honey (three times the weight of the rest in powder) and form an electuary.
Function:
Stomach, Liver and Kidney Tonic, strengthens Blood
Use:
1. Stomach weakness (enhances digestion and absorption)
2. Anemia
3. Liver deficiency
4. Edema
5. Incontinence of Urine
6. regarded as Aphrodisiac
7. Gastroinestinal Bleeding
Dose:
5–7 grams
Cautions:
None noted
Modifications:
1. There are a number of varieties of Majun Khabsul Hadeed, often adding a small amount of medicines like Aloeswood, Cyperus rotundus, Ginger and Pepper.
2. Iron Bhasma could be used in place of Iron rust.
