Aloeswood	Aquillaria agallocha	3 drams
Citron peel	Citrus medica	2 drams
Cinnamon	Cinnamonum zeylanicum
Anise	Pimpinella anisum	1 dram ea.
Sa ff ron	Crocus sativus	1⁄2 dram
Sugar	Saccharum	1 mann *

* The weight given in the source text is 1 mann, equal to 816 grams. This, however, seems excessive. The Sugar can be reduced.

Preparation:

Powder the herbs and mix with the sugar.
Minhaj al-dukkan said to mix the powder with clarified Honey instead of Sugar.

Function:

Moves Qi, benefits the Stomach

Use:

1. Stomach dysfunction
2. Wind, bloating, belching
3. Abdominal Pain from Cold, Wind or Phlegm

Dose:

1⁄2–1 dram

Cautions:

None noted

Modifications:

The sugar can be reduced.
