Hordeum vulgare | 10 pounds |
Preparation:
Infuse for 24 hours, then boil until a third has been consumed. If this is to be decocted daily, doses can be reduced accordingly.
Function:
Clears Wind and Damp, relieves Pain
Use:
“In Catarrhs and Gouts, and other Diseases proceeding from cold distillations, as in Dropsies, Cachochymies, Cachexia’s, &c. It is a very powerful Remedy, as it dries and strengthens the Body, being drank daily as ordinary Drink”. (Salmon)

Dose:
it can be taken as common drink throughout the day; otherwise, 3 draughts can be taken daily.
