Preparation:
Powder and form honey pills
Function:
Tonifies the Kidney, secures the Chong (Penetrating) Vessel, Tonifies Qi,, Nourishes Blood, calms the Fetus
Use:
Lower back pain, feeling cold or cold feet, copious pale urine, pale tongue and a deep, weak pulse
1. Threatened Miscarriage
2. Habitual Miscarriage
3. May also be used for Infertility
Dose:
6–9 grams three times daily, for 3 months
Cautions:
Not suitable for cases with excess Heat
Modifications:
1. More severe deficiency, use Ginseng instead of Codonopsis Dang Shen.
2. If there are signs of Heat, add Scutellaria Huang Qin
