Use:
Bitter taste, feeling of heat, thirst, fast pulse

4. Bad kan (Phlegm)–Mhkris (Bile) (Damp-Heat) diseases

7. Heat and Inflammation of the Stomach and Inestines
Dose:
1–2 grams
Cautions:
Not used in cold diseases
Modifications:
1. Momordica cochinchinensis is substituted for Herpetospermum
2. When Shilajit, Pomegranate and Swertia are added, it is used in Mongolia for three types of Gall Bladder disease: Hot, Cold and Wind (rLung)
