Preparation:
Powder finely and mix well
Function:
Settles Wind, Clears Heat, calms the Mind and Spirit
Use:
‘Perfectly cures Vertigo, Apoplexy, and Falling Sickness’. (Salmon)
1. Apoplexy
2. Vertigo
3. Dizziness
4. Epilepsy
Dose:
1⁄2–1 scruple
Cautions:
Obsolete today due to the Cinnabar content which is essentail in this formula.
Modifications:
Hematite or some other mineral could replce Cinnabar, and the Peacock dung could be omitted.
Similar Formulas:
Similar to Compound Powder of Cinnabar.
Comment:
Some listed the same Powder under the name Epileptic Powder.
