Preparation:
Powder and with Crystal Sugar, Manna (equal parts), and a little Almond oil, form an Electuary.
Function:
Moves Qi, Calms the Mind and Spirit, Benefits the Heart, promotes Happiness
Use:
1. Palpitation
2. Sadness or Worry without cause
3. Debility from Cold
4. Melancholy
Dose:
1–2 drams

This is a less common and less known type of Letificans, the most commonly used was Letificans of Galen.
The Letifican formulas were all used to promote a sense of Happiness and wellbeing by moving Qi, calming Mind and Spirit and strengthening the Heart and Brain.
