From Salmon, Seplasium:
Salmon describes several types and tells of how some authors supposed them to be teeth from certain fish or animals.
They are rarely used, excepting as an ingredient in the Citrine Ointment, and have similar virtue to Crabs-Eyes, Crab Shell, Oyster shells etc. which may be used in their place.
They cool, dry and absorb acid. Taken in doses of 1–2 drams of the fine powder, for Heartburn and Burning Stomach pain. They may be taken for Burning Fevers and for Diarrhea and Dysentery.
