Preparation:
Decoction
Function:
Strengthens Spleen, Increases Qi, Warms the Yang
Use:
Fatigue, weakness, poor digestion, shortness of Breath, aversion to Cold. Weak pulse, pale tongue with white coat.
1. Palpitations
2. Congestive Heart Failure
3. Arrhythmia
4. Hypotension
5. Diarrhea
6. Asthma
7. Emphysema
8. Hypothyroidism
9. Kidney failure
Dose:
The above is divided into three equal doses to be taken over the day.
Cautions:
None noted
Modifications:
1. Heart Yang deficiency, add Aconitum Fu Zi, Cinnamon twig (Gui Zhi), Salvia Dan Shen
2. Sick Sinus syndrome, swap Cinnamon twig (Gui Zhi) for Cinnamon Rou Gui, and add Sandalwood (Tan Xiang).
3. Kidney failure, add Poria Fu Ling, Eucommia Du Zhong, Mistletoe (Sang Ji Sheng)
